Christine and the Queens has released “Rendez-vous Avec Toi,” the first track from a forthcoming album expected next spring. An English-language version, “Rendez-vous In Your Arms,” arrived alongside it, and the French track has a video co-directed by Chris and Raphaël De Albuquerque. The report does not provide the album title or a specific release date.
Christine and the Queens has released “Rendez-vous Avec Toi,” the first preview of a new album expected next spring, according to Stereogum. The French-language single arrived with “Rendez-vous In Your Arms,” an English version of the same song, opening a new album cycle after the project’s 2023 release, PARANOÏA, ANGELS, TRUE LOVE.
The two versions are presented as counterparts rather than separate songs: “Rendez-vous In Your Arms” is the English-language version of “Rendez-vous Avec Toi.” The source report describes the French track as the first taste of the forthcoming album, but does not name the record or give a firm release date beyond saying it is due next spring.
A music video accompanies “Rendez-vous Avec Toi.” Chris directed it with Raphaël De Albuquerque, according to the report. The English version was also released with the track, though the supplied source does not specify whether it has a separate video.
Chris described the song through an extended statement about anticipation, devotion and a shared evening. He also referred to the music’s inspirations as New York jazz and a Moroder groove, and framed the track as part of a wider creative journey for Christine and the Queens. Those are the artist’s descriptions; the report does not provide production credits or further detail about the recording.
A First Signal From the Next Album
The release marks a return to album-focused work for Christine and the Queens and gives listeners their first advance track from the follow-up to the 2023 album. Because the new record is expected next spring, the single begins a promotional period that may provide more information about its sound, title and release plans.
Putting out French and English versions together also gives the song two language presentations from the outset. The source confirms the versions are of the same song, but does not explain whether the album will include both, or how the two recordings differ beyond their language.

From the 2023 Album to a New Era
The previous Christine and the Queens album cited in the report is PARANOÏA, ANGELS, TRUE LOVE, released in 2023. Stereogum characterizes the new single as the start of a new era for the project and identifies it as the first preview of the next album.
The report also says Chris had released collaborations that year with Logic1000, Thee Diane and other artists. It does not provide dates or further details about those collaborations. “Rendez-vous Avec Toi” is presented as a new solo release, distinct from that recent collaborative activity.
““I have a rendez-vous with you, tonight I have obsessed about it since the morning.””
— Chris, in a statement about “Rendez-vous Avec Toi”
Album Details Still Awaited
The report gives next spring as the album’s expected arrival but does not specify a calendar date, album title, track list or label. It also does not say whether the date is a firm release commitment or a broader expected window.
Further details about the two versions remain unreported, including whether both will appear on the album and whether the English version has its own video. The supplied material also does not include information about upcoming live performances or additional singles.
More Album News May Follow
